This Palo Santo comes from sustainable forestry in Piura, Peru.
No trees are cut down, but rather the wood is collected after the branches have fallen naturally from the tree at the end of its life cycle. On the ground, the wood then reaches its final maturity, its strong resin content and its individual, unmistakable scent.
Application:
To use as incense, light the end of a Palo Santo stick and let it burn for a few seconds. Then blow out the flame and spread the smoke around the room as desired. Palo Santo is said to cleanse negative energies in the room and promote a feeling of peace and clarity. In addition, it is ideal for giving a room a pleasant smell. It can also be used as a natural insect repellent.
